Graduated from the Kyiv Municipal Dance Academy named Serge Lifar (2011, class of V. Soldatenko) and Kherson State University (2022, Faculty of Culture and Arts, specialty – master of choreography).
Since 2011 – artist-intern, since 2014 – soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine.
2023- artist of Ballet Kiel (Germany)

Elena Filipieva is a famous Ukrainian ballerina.
Was born on May 23, 1970 in the city of Dneprorudny, Zaporizhzhya region, Ukraine. Parents who were athletes initially sent the girl to gymnastics, then she began to learn folk dances in a local dance school.
In 1980 she entered the Kiev Choreographic School. After graduating in 1988, she was accepted into the ballet troupe of the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine. She did not dance in the corps de ballet. From 1988 Soloist of National Opera of Ukraine. The first solo in the theater was the title role in the ballet Giselle.
In 1993, at the age of 23, she became the youngest National Artist of independent Ukraine. In 1994, she won the gold medal at the Maya International Ballet Competition.
She graduated from the International Slavic University.
From 2000-2022 combined a ballet career with a career as a teacher and tutor of the ballet troupe of the National Opera of Ukraine.
From 2020-2022 tutor and artistic director of the ballet troupe of the National Opera of Ukraine.
Winner of International Ballet Competitions – (1989, II Prize), Maya Competition, 1994, gold medal, Japan (Nagoya, 1996, Silver Medal; 1999, silver medal). Knight of the Order of Queen Olga, awarded the Order of St. Stanislav, awarded the Order of Iaroslav Mudriy.
